Happy first birthday to our little lion man. Mom and Dad are so glad we got to meet you and know that as your parents we will get to see you again. Sister Hazel is so very sad that you did not come home, but she is very proud to be a big sister. We celebrated your first birthday with family and friends.
We remember your birthday with great love and peace. You life has blessed us in ways we did not expect even though your death challenged us in ways we could not imagine. We are ever thankful for our time with you - our months, weeks, days, hours and minutes. Knowing that moment would come changed the way we recognize time.
Today would be Henry's first birthday, which is a big milestone in our community of friends and family. We are so thankful for the support and love of our friends, new and old.
